Company Profile
Elk River Public Utility District (ERPUD) is a public utility district
created by the State of Tennessee to provide natural gas energy throughout the
franchised area of Coffee and Franklin counties. The District sustains its operations and expands the system
solely from the sale of natural gas and related services without making a
profit. The District currently serves over 15,000 customers through a network of over 700 miles of mains. ERPUD
installs and/or replaces approximately 15-20 miles of mains throughout our service
area annually. Some of the communities
served are Tullahoma, Manchester, Winchester, Decherd, Estill Springs, Cowan,
Sewanee, Midway and the USAF Arnold Engineering Development Center. The District is governed by a Board of Commissioners
who determine its policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. The management team is responsible for
operating the District according to the direction of the Board. The District currently has 60 employees.
